After years as an Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, my plan for trading in lesson plans and board rooms for beach reads and boarding passes took a plot twist - I’m now an Agent Development Manager, travel agent, and proud grandma who’s just trying to keep her suitcase, sanity, and reading glasses all in the same place. Erin and I bonded over sarcasm, caffeine, and the belief that a good book and a strong cocktail can fix almost anything. My favorite genres are twisty thrillers and smart women’s fiction read pool-side with my phone on "Do Not Disturb."
Hi, I'm Erin, and welcome to Pages & Passports! Karla and I met at our host agency's annual conference and immediately bonded over our love of Schitt's Creek, sarcasm, and a desire to help clients become more confident travelers. I'm a former high school teacher who had trouble finding time to read, without feeling like I should always be working on something else. I'm a small group kind of person -- I love relaxed and comfortable conversation, hate big parties, and "Tell us one fun fact about you!" activities make me nauseous. I have two kids, two big dogs, and I'm currently trying to survive perimenopause with plenty of caramel lattes and my anti-anxiety meds. My favorite genres are fun, quirky romances and autobiographies.
How do I get registered?
Simply click on any of the links on this page, and you'll be able to enter all of the important information that we need to make your booking. Once you registration is received, we'll send you a secure credit card authorization for your $100 room deposit. This will allow us to make your deposit payment to the supplier on your behalf. After you make your deposit, your room is reserved!
Will I have free time or is it too structured?
That's the best thing about this retreat! You can relax on the beach, read by the pool, explore the resort at your own pace, or join optional group activities— it’s up to you.
What if I’m traveling solo?
Solo travelers are welcome! Suites can accommodate one or two travelers per room. Many of our travelers come solo but leave with new friends.
What’s included in the price?
Your suite, meals, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and private roundtrip transfers from CUN airport are all included. Airfare, insurance, gratuities and any spa services or excursions are additional.
Why not just travel to Mexico on my own?
Great question. Independent travel often means juggling hotels, transfers, and everyone else's wishes. With this retreat, everything is included in one package — and you’ll decide how to spend your time. It’s truly the best opportunity for scheduled rest with the ability to get outside of your comfort zone.
